The former frontman of Brockhampton, Kevin Abstract, introduced his indie rock project, Blanket, the previous year and has been actively engaging in various musical ventures. At his performance at Coachella, Abstract surprised the audience by bringing out Sky Ferreira to perform a cover of Lady A’s “Need You Now.” He also contributed a cover of “Once In A Lifetime” to the Stop Making Sense tribute compilation. His recent collaborations include work with Lil Nas X and Toro Y Moi. Today, he presents a fresh track featuring Nourished By Time.
Nourished By Time, a musician hailing from Baltimore with a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim, has been consistently productive since the release of his 2023 album, Erotic Probiotic 2. This year alone, Nourished By Time has unveiled the Catching Chickens EP and the compilation Scenic Route – Road Less Travelled Vol. 2.
In a tweet that has since been removed, Kevin Abstract mentioned that his latest collaboration with Nourished By Time, titled “Creek,” is part of a new mix that will be unveiled song by song. “Creek” features a laid-back, rhythmic beat and transitions between Nourished By Time’s soulful R&B vocals and Abstract’s candid romantic verses.
