Jordana Nye’s enthusiasm shines through in every release, making her indie-pop presence both captivating and enjoyable. The impressive quality of her music videos hints at either a significant budget or beneficial connections in the film industry, and it’s pleasing to see her consistently embody this spirited indie-pop persona.
Following her delightful collaborations with Dent May and Paul Cherry, she has dropped two singles from her upcoming album, Lively Premonition, titled “We Get By” and “Like A Dog.” Today, she’s added another track to that collection.
The new song “Anything For You” presents a bright folk-pop vibe reminiscent of the Golden Hour, showcasing lively guitar and keyboard melodies threading through the song. The lyrics express deep devotion: “I would have done anything for you… I would have moved mountains, and you knew all along.” Accompanying the song, director Justin Taylor Smith’s video features Jordana as both an astronaut exploring desert landscapes and a country artist performing in a honky-tonk setting. Check it out below.
Lively Premonition is set to be released on October 18 via Grand Jury.
