Introducing Jim Legxacy’s New Single “aggressive”
UK-based artist Jim Legxacy, known for his dynamic blend of genres from emo to Afrobeats, is making waves in the music scene. He’s gearing up for his new mixtape titled Black British Music (2024) under XL Recordings, and has just released the lead single, “aggressive.”
This track features an energetic beat, combined with samples from other works and Legxacy’s unique, delicate vocal style reminiscent of Abel Tesfaye. The hook reveals a raw intensity: “You just get aggressive,” he expresses. The song incorporates a sample from Chip’s hit “Oopsy Daisy,” and the video is creatively shot on a Blackberry.
Check out the video below to experience “aggressive,” as well as Legxacy’s heartfelt tribute to his sister in his recent release, “nothings changed (!).”
Stay tuned for Black British Music (2024), set to drop later this year on XL Recordings.
