In recent months, JID has contributed to various notable albums by artists such as Eminem and Katy Perry, and he has now unveiled his latest solo track “31 Freestyle” as a standalone release on YouTube.
The release of “31 Freestyle” follows a pattern of earlier tracks, beginning with “29 Freestyle” in 2022 and continuing with “30 Freestyle” earlier this year. Despite the titles, JID hasn’t actually put out 31 freestyles; these songs are more polished than traditional freestyles. He has opted to release them directly on YouTube instead of through streaming platforms.
