Jet Share First New Music In 15 Years

Jet Returns with New Music After 15 Years

Australian rock band Jet, known for hits like “Are You Gonna Be My Girl,” has made a comeback after 15 years. They have released a new song called “Hurry Hurry,” which they previously performed during their 20th-anniversary tour in Australia. The B-side of the single, “Un’avventura,” features singer and guitarist Nic Cester singing in both English and Italian, reflecting his time spent living in Italy over the past 15 years.

Lead singer Nic Cester expressed excitement about the release, calling it an appetizer for their upcoming album. The band has received positive feedback from fans in Australia and looks forward to performing the new songs in Italy, the UK, and the US.

Jet fans can anticipate a new album from the band in 2025. You can listen to “Hurry Hurry” and “Un’avventura” below.

On a lighter note, the term “Hurry Hurry” amusingly reminds some of us of urging pets to hurry up while on walks.
