Tinashe’s comeback in the music industry as an independent artist has been a remarkable journey. Her track “Nasty,” released in April, gained popularity, especially after a viral dance edit, marking her first significant crossover hit in years.
“Nasty” made its way onto the Hot 100 chart recently, currently positioned at #69. Tinashe’s performance of the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live was well-received, and Janet Jackson, who has inspired Tinashe, has incorporated “Nasty” into her own performances. Today, we are treated to a remix of “Nasty” by the unique Jane Remover, a favored artist on this platform.
Several remixes of “Nasty” have emerged. Tinashe unveiled her Match My Freak remix EP at short notice, featuring remixes by various artists like Wuki, 7fiendss, DJ Tunez, svntana archives, OG Ron C, and DJ Candlestick. Among these remixes, Jane Remover’s version stands out with its energetic and fragmented rave reimagining, reminiscent of Aphex Twin in Miami bass style.
