Exploring a unique artistic approach, Jane Remover unveiled her album Census Designated last year and has been active ever since. Recently, she remixed Tinashe’s hit “Nasty” and will soon embark on a tour with JPEGMAFIA and RXK Nephew. Today, she presents two fresh tracks.
The new singles, “Flash In The Pan” and “Dream Sequence,” showcase diverse aspects of Jane Remover’s musical prowess. “Flash In The Pan” blends elements of shoegaze and hyperpop with an anxious, emotive rap style featuring energetic beats and scratches. Her delivery in Lil Peep-style melodies captivates with lyrics like, “I left my patience back at 30th St. station/ I got a thousand miles on my next life/ Everybody think they own a piece of me/ If you want a little taste, you can bite it.”
On the other hand, “Dream Sequence” delves deeper into Jane Remover’s emotional shoegaze sound, characterized by a powerful, emotional riff and vulnerable lyrics reflecting on fear and missed opportunities. Both tracks offer a compelling listening experience, available below.
“Flash In The Pan” b/w “Dream Sequence” is now released on deadAir. Explore more about Jane Remover in our 2023 feature here.
