The novel turned film turned comic book series American Psycho, authored by Bret Easton Ellis, known for its dark themes, now extends into the realm of music with a cover of Katrina And The Waves’ “Walking On Sunshine” by Ice Nine Kills and Reel Big Fish. This cover adds to the soundtrack of the upcoming graphic novel that compiles all five issues of the comic adaptation of Ellis’ work.
The 1985 hit song “Walking On Sunshine” featured prominently in the original film, and its significance in the story is also mirrored in this new musical collaboration. The accompanying music video pays tribute to the film, with Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills echoing a memorable scene where the protagonist removes a face mask in one smooth peel.
