Hildegard Returns with New Album
In 2021, Helena Deland and Ouri came together to form Hildegard, releasing their first album. Since then, Deland has offered Goodnight Summerland, while Ouri has put out several singles. Now, they are reuniting to introduce their new project, Jour 1596.
Lead Single: “Cruel”
The captivating lead track, “Cruel,” is described by Deland and Ouri as a conversation between lovers or friends, where one seeks stability and the other craves change. The album title, Jour 1596, signifies the number of days they spent creating it. The record features contributions from Zach Frampton (piano), Christopher Edmondson (saxophone), Phil Melanson (drums), and Benja (guitar). Check out “Cruel” below.
