Recently, the nonprofit group Red Hot presented a new compilation titled TRAИƧA, which began with Lauren Auder and Wendy and Lisa of the Revolution performing a cover of Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U.” This week, Beverly Glenn-Copeland has joined forces with Sam Smith to release a rendition of “Ever New.”
Glenn reflected on the impact of “Ever New,” mentioning, “I never anticipated that this song would resonate with so many people across years.” He shared a touching moment when a fan told him that the song was played during their child’s birth. He feels that collaborating with Sam Smith is a testament that our lives can be renewed endlessly.
Sam Smith expressed his gratitude, stating, “It was a privilege to collaborate with such an incredible person like Glenn on this meaningful song. This experience is unforgettable, and I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing project.”
In a recent announcement, Glenn disclosed his dementia diagnosis and shared that he is currently on his final tour. You can listen to “Ever New” featuring Sam Smith below.
