Haircut One Hundred Shares Their First New Song in Four Decades
The band Haircut One Hundred, known for their debut album Pelican West in 1982, had a break-up after firing their frontman Nick Heyward during the production of their second album Paint And Paint in 1984. After various reunions over the years, the band is back together and recently released their first new single in 40 years.
Currently on tour in the US with Howard Jones and ABC, Haircut One Hundred has also announced the upcoming release of a new album, the first in four decades featuring Nick Heyward. Their new single, “The Unloving Plum,” has been performed live and is described as a classic guitar-pop tune with vibrant horn elements.
