Glare’s New Single “Mourning Haze” Available on TunesDeck

Glare – “Mourning Haze”

Texas-based shoegaze band Glare, founded in 2017, has gained a significant following with their heavy, dreamy sound despite not having released an LP yet. Although they withdrew from SXSW due to sponsorship reasons, they performed at one of Stereogum’s independent events. Glare has recently signed with Deathwish, Inc., a renowned heavy-music label, and has unveiled a new single.

The band’s debut album is set to be released next year through a collaboration between Deathwish and Sunday Drive, the label behind their recent works. Guitarist Toni Ordaz describes their latest song, “Mourning Haze,” as a departure from their previous style, focusing on themes of grief and dreams as a coping mechanism.

In the upcoming months, Glare will be embarking on a series of shows alongside bands such as Slowdive, Turnover, Pachinko, and Glixen. Check out the track “Mourning Haze” below and see their tour dates.
