Killer Mike unveiled his new album “Songs For Sinners & Saints,” a continuation of his acclaimed “Michael” era, and announced a listening event scheduled for tonight. However, fans do not have to wait as the project, attributed to Michael & The Mighty Midnight Revival, is available as a free download for the next 48 hours.
In a message to the Run The Jewels mailing list, Killer Mike expressed his gratitude:
I want to express my gratitude for this incredible journey. Over the past decade, many of my dreams have become reality, and the support I’ve received during the MICHAEL era has been heartwarming and inspiring. I felt that I wasn’t done with the sound. I wanted to create something with the people who have been instrumental in bringing it to life every night during performances with me.
Thus, we have crafted a new project named MICHAEL and THE MIGHTY MIDNIGHT REVIVAL – SONGS FOR SINNERS & SAINTS. This serves as an epilogue to MICHAEL and a token of appreciation to all of you who have believed in me (and us) since day one. While the album officially releases this Friday, August 2, you can download it for FREE right now.
