About the Collaboration
Swedish pop artist Tove Lo has been actively collaborating this year, working with artists like Kylie Minogue, Bebe Rexha, Nelly Furtado, and SG Lewis. Her latest collaboration is with George Daniel, known as the drummer of the 1975 and engaged to Charli XCX.
“Screen Cleaner” marks Daniel’s first solo release under his new label dh2, a subsidiary of Dirty Hit. Despite this milestone, Daniel, along with the rest of the 1975, is facing a lawsuit following an onstage incident at the Good Vibes Festival in Malaysia involving Matty Healy and Ross MacDonald.
In a lighter vein, it’s Charli XCX’s birthday, sparking hopes that Daniel will perform the “Apple” dance. You can listen to “Screen Cleaner” below.
