This year, the Chicago-based indie rock band Friko made a splash with their debut album, Where we’ve been, Where we go from here. Although it was their first official release, the band had already spent years creating music together. They are set to release a special expanded version of the album next month, which features a track titled “If I Am.”
The expanded album will include 11 additional tracks, comprising studio outtakes, live performances, and a rendition of My Bloody Valentine’s classic “When You Sleep.” According to the band, in a press announcement, the new material dates back to 2019 and represents some of their earliest compositions.
