New Music Release from The Convenience
The post-punk duo from New Orleans, the Convenience, made their mark in 2021 with their first album titled Accelerator. Members Nick Corson and Duncan Troast have collaborated with various artists, such as Rui Gabriel and Drugdealer, in addition to Duncan’s sister, Saturday Night Live cast member Chloe Troast. They have just unveiled a new two-track single.
Their latest songs, “Routiner” and “Postcard,” present contrasting styles of post-punk. “Routiner” is energetic and driving, featuring a bassline that embodies the sensation of anxiety taking over your space. On the other hand, “Postcard” offers a quieter, ethereal experience reminiscent of New Zealand’s sound, enhanced by piercing, droning violins. Check out both tracks below.
The single “Routiner” b/w “Postcard” is now available through Winspear.
