Recently, Thirdface revealed their upcoming album titled Ministerial Cafeteria. Following their release of “Meander,” they now present a powerful new track called “Midian.”
Vocalist Kathryn Edwards describes the band’s name as a nod to the hidden aspects of one’s personality. “This concealed side can be dark and nihilistic at times. I’m a fan of Clive Barker’s Nightbreed, which delves into how our fears about these hidden parts of ourselves can manifest and change. This theme is a strong influence on the lyrics of this song,” she explains.
At under one and a half minutes, “Midian” delivers an intense burst of energy. Check it out below.
The album Ministerial Cafeteria will be available on November 1st through Exploding In Sound.
