Exploring L’Impératrice’s New Track “Any Way” Featuring Maggie Rogers

L’Impératrice – “Any Way” (Feat. Maggie Rogers)

The renowned French pop and nu-disco collective L’Impératrice is set to drop their upcoming album named Pulsar shortly. Leading up to the release, they have teased tracks such as “Me Da Igual,” “Love From The Other Side,” and “Danza Marilù.” Today, they are presenting “Any Way,” a captivating collaboration with Maggie Rogers.

Expressing her excitement, Rogers shared, “L’Impératrice has been one of my favorite bands for a few years now, so when we started talking about working together on some music, I jumped at the opportunity to travel to Paris and create with them. The song came together really naturally and effortlessly in one afternoon and I really think it represents this perfect hybrid of what we both do. I’m so happy it’s out in the world.”

Charles de Boisseguin, the band’s founder, reflected on the collaboration, “The French way is that we are pretty slow people. We really take time to make things good. But Maggie Rogers showed up and showed us her skills and the American way. It was a magical moment.”

The accompanying music video for “Any Way” is directed by Zite and Léo. Apart from the collaboration with Rogers, Pulsar features contributions from Erick The Architect and Fabiana Martone. Earlier this year, Maggie Rogers introduced her third studio album, Don’t Forget Me. Watch the “Any Way” video below.

Pulsar is scheduled to be released on 6/7 via Microqlima.
