Announcing his album, RITUAL, earlier this year, Jon Hopkins first shared “RITUAL (evocation)” and now presents the peaceful ambient piece “RITUAL (palace).”
Detailing his inspiration, Hopkins shared, “In 2022, I was tasked with composing for a project named Dreamachine* – a captivating multidisciplinary immersive venture crafted by a collective of artists, scientists, and thinkers, which engaged tens of thousands of individuals in 2022 and beyond. ‘RITUAL (palace)’ is an evolution of the musical composition I created for that project. I am incredibly grateful to all those involved.”
