Eddie Vedder, known for his work with Pearl Jam, recently released a cover of Tom Petty’s “Room At The Top” for the soundtrack of Apple TV+’s series Bad Monkey, starring Vince Vaughn. This follows his rendition of English Beat’s “Save It For Later” for Hulu’s The Bear earlier this year.
Vedder has performed “Room At The Top” live multiple times, including at the 2018 Oscars. The cover was produced by Andrew Watt.
Bad Monkey tells the story of former Miami Police Department member turned health inspector, Andrew Yancy, as he unravels a mystery involving a human arm amidst personal challenges and quirky encounters.
The series also features Larkin Poe’s cover of Tom Petty’s “Runnin’ Down A Dream” in its trailer.
