Los Angeles indie band Dummy announces the upcoming release of their second album, “Free Energy,” the sequel to “Mandatory Enjoyment,” set to launch in September through Trouble In Mind. Their lead single, “Nullspace,” is described as a sonic representation of the new album, drawing inspiration from Mark Van Hoen and his dreamy dance-pop style in the Locust record “Morning Light.” The track maintains Dummy’s distinct vibe with a blend of acoustic guitar strums, programmed beats, and psychedelic pop melodies.
