Sorry, the British indie rock group, is back with new music after some time. They previously released Anywhere But Here in 2022, which was highlighted as our Album Of The Week. In July of the same year, they unveiled “Screaming In The Rain Again,” a new take on their original track. Now, they’ve just released a new song titled “Waxwing” through Domino.
“Waxwing” features lyrics inspired by Toni Basil’s classic “Hey Mickey.” Asha Lorenz reflects on this by questioning: “Is Mickey desire? Is Mickey the bomb? Does Mickey bring me wealth? Does Mickey inspire my music? Is Mickey an addiction? Is Mickey deceitful? Is Mickey love? Is Mickey desire?”
