Discover Sabrina Carpenter’s Latest Song “Please Please Please”

Sabrina Carpenter – “Please Please Please”

Sabrina Carpenter, known for her hit track “Espresso,” is back with a potential summer hit, “Please Please Please.” While “Espresso” has been climbing the charts, Sabrina surprises her fans with a new single produced by Jack Antonoff.

Recently, Carpenter revealed that her upcoming album Short N’ Sweet will be released in August. She expressed her excitement about the project and hinted at a surprise to be unveiled soon. True to her word, the surprise came in the form of her new song, “Please Please Please.”

This new single showcases a different side of Carpenter, with a country ballad vibe, in contrast to the retro synth-funk sound of “Espresso.” Co-written by Sabrina Carpenter, Jack Antonoff, and Amy Allen, the song features heartfelt lyrics like “Please, please, please/ Don’t bring me to tears when I just did my makeup so nice.”

The accompanying music video, directed by Bardia Zeinali, continues the storyline from the “Espresso” video, with Carpenter getting out of jail and handcuffing her boyfriend, played by Barry Keoghan. Fans can explore this narrative further in the Sabrina Carpenter Cinematic Universe by watching the video.

Short N’ Sweet is set to release on 8/23 via Island Records. Catch Sabrina Carpenter live at New York’s Governors Ball this weekend where she will be sharing the stage with artists like Post Malone, offering fans a taste of her musical versatility.
