In a recent development, Coldplay is now hinting at releasing a new single.
Chris Martin, in a video shared on Coldplay’s social media, previewed 21 seconds of a song titled “First Time.” The video shows Martin standing on what seems to be the Santa Monica pier with a backdrop of a spinning ferris wheel. The song snippet suggests a classic Coldplay ballad with a uplifting vibe. There’s no indication of BTS’s involvement in this track based on the preview. Watch the teaser below.

Coldplay is set to headline Glastonbury later this month, adding more weight to the anticipation of new music. Chris Martin hinted at Coldplay’s music-making future by mentioning that they plan to release their final album in 2025, after which they will focus primarily on touring.
