Chubby And The Gang recently dropped “The Bonnie Banks,” unveiling that the band is now solely led by Charlie Manning Walker. Walker has now announced his debut album And Then There Was…, under the hardcore label Flatspot. The energetic single “To Be Young” is now available.
The music video for “To Be Young” was directed by Nick Suchak, produced by Dan Matthews, and features guest vocals from singer Kate Clover. Walker expressed, “When you’re 17, you have no idea about life, you just exist. This song romanticizes that uncertainty. You make so many mistakes, and you have no idea that you’re doing them.”
And Then There Was… was produced by Jonah Falco, with recording and mixing done by James Atckinson. This album follows 2021’s The Mutt’s Nuts. Listen to “To Be Young” below.
