Charm School, an indie-pop band from the Bay Area, is gearing up to release their upcoming album, The Boy Who Ran The Paisley Hotel. Previously, they shared tracks like “Give Your Heart Away” and “Wandering Song.” Their newest song, “The End,” which interestingly kicks off the album, has been revealed. Avoiding predictability, the band chose not to conclude with a track titled “The End.”
“The End” exudes a sun-soaked jangle-pop vibe that exudes warmth. It offers a sense of familiarity, with moments reminiscent of the “Friday I’m In Love” riff. Frontman Andy Pastalaniec took charge of video editing and contributed to the cinematography. The music video, featuring DIY claymation, narrates the tale of two cats exchanging letters. You can watch it below.
The Boy Who Ran The Paisley Hotel will be available on 8/23 through Slumberland.
