Channel Tres, the innovative vocalist from Compton known for his funky and club-friendly tunes, has finally unveiled his debut album after years of releasing EPs and delivering electrifying live performances. The album, titled “Head Rush,” follows the release of singles like “Berghain” and “Cactus Water,” as well as his contributions to recent tracks by Kaytranada, Jay Worthy, and DāM-FunK.

While Channel Tres’ previous works have always displayed a blend of house, funk, soul, rap, and disco influences without fitting neatly into any single genre, “Head Rush” stands out as a 17-track masterpiece that showcases a diverse range of sounds. The album includes collaborations with artists such as Thundercat, Toro Y Moi, Ty Dolla $ign, Ravyn Lenae, Estelle, and Teezo Touchdown. Channel Tres took on much of the production himself, often teaming up with Roman GainArthur, known for his work with Janelle Monaé. Listen to the album below.

“Head Rush” is now available on RCA.
