This month, World News revealed their second EP of the year titled Mindsnap, introducing the lead track. Today, the British indie rock band has unveiled the contemplative piece “Junkie.”
According to the band on Bandcamp, “Junkie” explores the heart-wrenching experience of observing someone close struggle with addiction while rejecting support. Spanning nearly six and a half minutes, the track evolves into an energetic instrumental that feels akin to a jam session. You can listen to it below.
The Mindsnap EP is scheduled for release on 11/14 through Pie & Mash Records.
