Charly Bliss – “Back There Now” (New Music Release on TunesDeck)

Charly Bliss – “Back There Now”

Forever marks the return of Charly Bliss with their first new album in five years. Ahead of the album release, the band has already unveiled singles like “Nineteen,” “Calling You Out,” and “Waiting For You.” Now, they offer a final preview with the release of “Back There Now.”

“Back There Now” delves into reflection as lead singer Eva Hendricks looks back on a past relationship with insight, belting out introspective lyrics like, “Sometimes I miss you, but I already know/ A boy like you would hang me if I gave you the rope.” In a press release, Hendricks shares:

One of the surprising aspects of aging is drifting away from the decisions made during youth. Yet, reminders like a piece of writing or a song can transport me back to the tumultuous nature of my early twenties romantic experiences, making me confront the enduring part of myself that thrives on pain and heartbreak despite efforts to bury it.

The music video for “Back There Now,” directed by the band’s own Dan Shure, complements the track superbly. The video can be viewed below.

Forever will be available on 8/16 via Lucky Number.
