Following his 2019 album The Big Day, Chance The Rapper has been consistently dropping standalone singles. Recently, he shared the track “I Will Be Your (Black Star Line Freestyle)” and several others including “Buried Alive,” “Stars Out,” and the DJ Premier-produced “Together.” Now, he has released a new single, “Bad Boys 2,” featuring Joey Purp.
In this latest collaboration, Chance and Joey Purp, both representing Chicago’s rap scene, deliver a high-energy performance reminiscent of their previous work together. The track is believed to be part of Chance’s upcoming project, Star Line, and features a dynamic beat by DexLvL.
The music video for “Bad Boys 2,” directed by Chance himself, showcases the artists cruising through Chicago with lyrics flashing on the screen. The visual complements the fast-paced, purposeful rap style exhibited by Chance and Joey Purp in the song. Watch the video below.
