Blood Incantation Unveils 20-Minute Epic “The Stargate” Accompanied by Captivating Short Film

Blood Incantation Share New 20-Minute Song “The Stargate” With Short Film

Blood Incantation, a progressive death metal band from Colorado, recently revealed details about their upcoming album titled Absolute Elsewhere. This unique release features just two extensive tracks: “The Stargate” and “The Message,” each approximately 20 minutes long and segmented into three parts. Since the album is structured this way, no singles were released beforehand. The album is set to be launched next week, and the band has unveiled “The Stargate,” which is the first track featured on the album.

In addition to the music, “The Stargate” is accompanied by a short film. Along with Absolute Elsewhere, Blood Incantation is also releasing All Gates Open: In Search Of Absolute Elsewhere. Directed by Michael Ragen, this 20-minute film is a visually captivating blend of fantasy elements, showcasing both the band and imagery related to medieval warfare and interdimensional portals. The collaboration also sees contributions from notable musicians, including Thorsten Quaeschning from Tangerine Dream and Nicklas Malmqvist from Hällas. It’s a complex experience, and while it may take some time to fully comprehend, you can watch it for yourself below.

The release date for Absolute Elsewhere is October 4, through Century Media.
