Andreya Casablanca, known for being part of Gurr, stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist in 2020 with her track “Talk About It.” Now, she’s back with a new single titled “Trapped In Space,” featured on her upcoming debut album, See More Glass, set to release this autumn.
In describing “Trapped In Space,” Casablanca shared, “This song delves into the concept of projection, encompassing both positive and negative aspects. It reflects a personal experience where I was drawn to someone who seemed to reciprocate feelings despite being in a committed relationship. The song captures the feeling of being stuck in a state of uncertainty and confusion, floating in between. The production mirrors this chaotic emotional state. While grappling with uncertainty is challenging for me, I’m learning to express my uncertainties and simply be present with them.”
The upbeat garage-rock tune is accompanied by a music video directed by Constantin Timm.
