With their emergence in 2018, Trauma Ray has solidified their presence within the modern shoegaze movement. The band, hailing from Fort Worth, now reveals their inaugural album Chameleon, accompanied by their recent partnership with Dais. Leading the release is the powerful single “Bishop,” available now.
Uriel Avila shared, “I was raised in a religious environment where concepts of sin, guilt, and repentance deeply resonated with me from a young age. The fear of hell and punishment was ingrained in me during my formative years, and the lyrics of this track reflect that period of my life.”
