There is no genre that Linda's voice hasn't been lent to (except hip hop & rap) over the decades. The power and beauty of her voice is something unmatched to this day by any female in the music buisness. By this album's release, she'd already cemented herself in American culture and further establishing herself as an inspiration to artists of the 90s, and millenium. The first track alone is a beauty and joy to hear, love that one. The ballad 'Try Me Again' is another stand out as is her covers of 'Crazy', & 'That'll be The Day'. I really enjoy the 3 part harmony on 'Rivers Of Babylon' and the closing track 'Someone To Lay Down Beside me' is highly relatable as well. VERY hard to pick a fav album frmo the 70s but this one is probably #2 in my book.

Anchored by three Karla Bonoff penned tunes, this record shows more of those dynamic vocals that make Linda Ronstadt that once in a generation voice. She is in prime form here - the vocals soar, each song is a gem. Again - her albums are the kind you listen to all the way through and never once get tempted to fast skip. Mesmerizing.
