Reviews

  • Linda's finest performance (actually all of her performances are class A).

You can really hear Linda's range and vocal power on this CD. It's simple amazing. And with Aaron Neville dueting on several of the songs, that makes this album even more special. Just wish they'd have done a whole album instead of just a few songs. I can't pick a favorite on here, to many great tracks. PS imstuckinthe80s: AGREED!)
  • A great showcase for a great voice

How is it possible that this album is 25+ years old? This is a great go-to album for vocals, instrumentation, harmonies, and singing along. Some of the best tracks aren't the ones that weren't released for radio. Trouble Again is a true standout (that note held from 1:24-1:35 is worth the price alone of the album), I Keep It Hid is a breakup song for the ages, and Shattered is another standout. Combine these with the radio hits and it's definitely an album to keep (and wear out). The music stands up to time and the vocals are out of this world, so do yourself a favor and take it all in.
  • What is there to say? Just Great

Two Great voices together, this was one of the best albums of the eighties.Aaron Neville compliments Linda’s voice very well and they sing like they were in love but, they are professional to the core.Peace Hector V.
