The 60s were a full cultural plate. Young and eager, discotheque was elegant and hedonistic by 1968. It was the rage. By the time Good Times hit people discode in Paris the same as Negril. The songs were anthems and as such were universal. Good Times as the name implies were chic and universal -- une credo passional! If the music was "right" you didn't need any other.

These are the dance songs I grew up with in the late 70's. Disco was in, and dance moves were falmbouyantly demontrated on the dance floor. The rythym and beat of CHIC compells you to tap your toes and dance to the beat. CHIC is one of my favorite music Artists of all time. I highly recommend it.
