Please, If you're gonna do a remix of these great song give them a worthy revision of the original. These "2002" versions sound like something I would hear in a Karaoke bar. I have to say that vocally you can appreciate their voices and even in some cases improvements. But the mixes are terrible except for those in the original versions. Stop milking these songs and make new ones or at least make a remix album that is relevant to the decade we're in. -alex-

Yes I totally agree. Do not get anything that has been re-recorded. WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT TO A PERFECTLY GOOD SONG??? Original freestyle songs came out in the early 80s to mid 90s

The name of this album should've been called "Freestyle Classics... Updated... Sort Of" which would've been a lot more accurate given that most of these songs (meaning the 2002 Versions) are not the original recordings. Instead, you're treated to watered down renditions that don't improve on the energy that Freestyle displayed in its heydey. While interesting in the sense of seeing how the voices of singers like George Lamond, Corina and the rest have grown, not even the vocal performances in the 2002 Versions, which are technically adequate, display any real passion. If you're looking to get a taste of what Freestyle can be, then this album isn't it. The only reason to buy anything from here is to get the songs listed as "Original Version" if you don't already have them.
  • Good songs.

Originals are always better, but these edit radio versions are still good. I just wish they had more freestyle albums on iTunes.

I can sum this album up in one word: YUCK!!! This album really ruins the Freestyle genre. Some of these songs are good, but they are too short. Now listen to me... STAY AWAY Do you hear me...STAY AWAY from the 2002 versions- PLEASE!!!! They are re-recordings done terrible. So that leaves us with...Hmmm...4 decent songs? iTunes please get this trash out of here and bring in 12" original Freestyle! Click YES for the real stuff that really defines "FREESTYLE"!
