Reviews

  • My Favorite U2 Album by Far

Where do I start with Zooropa? The whole album is a masterpiece. This goes for Achtung Baby as well, but the way they experimented with new sounds while also sounding unmistakeably U2 is incredible. The whole album has an ethereal feel that I wish they did more of in later albums, especially The Wanderer. Amazing album that never gets old.
  • Wonderful

To this day this remains one of my favorite albums of the 90s. The album manages to perfectly encapsulate the more experimental aspect of the band, while retaining their emotional core intact. It's also one of those rare albums which manages to stay relevant, no matter what time you revisit it. Just wonderful.
  • The Wanderer is the perfect apocalyptic song for today’s End Times

The Wanderer by Johnny Cash is the perfect song for these End Times ! The song’s lyrics capture the amoral malaise of this technocratic and social media dependent era.

This is one of my personal favorite U2 albums. This album has a great flow, track after track. Also, this album has great vocals, great drum solos, and great guitar solos as well. Finally, the instruments wrap around the vocals like no other, and intertwine perfectly. Definitely looking forward to the next limited play album, and extended play album from U2.
