  • One of the greatest

I loved this album when it came out. The songs are timeless. I had the opportunity to meet Linda one-on-one in 1980 when Jerry Brown was making a run for President during the 1980 primary in NH at his campaign headquarters in Nashua. She was gracious and very friendly. I am currently reading her book that describes her career. She is a real gentle soul with an amazing voice. So sorry that she has lost it from her PD but she really made her mark on the music industry.

Linda went country/western with this album with great songs and a magnificent voice. A true classic.

I bought this album back in the 70s and played it all the time. Linda Ronstadt had a beautiful voice and was a beautiful woman as a young gal. Her version of Lowell George's "Willin'" is just awesome as are all the other songs on this album.

There are iconic albums that are expertly arranged and sequenced, and showcase an artist’s range and abilities. This is one if them. It’s up there with Graceland, Hourglass, Abbey Road. The talent assembled here is a great match.

This is one of those albums where every song is just fantastic. I bought the LP in 1974 at UT-AUSTIN ($3.69), and I’ve net quit playing it. It’s truly great.
