There are a few catchy bangers, but honestly it’s just another stepping stone for the man who is eventually hailed a rap god. That’s not to say it’s not fun to listen to, but it’s another early album where most of the tracks feature half of Cash Money, who kind of cheapen the album overall. This album is a good launch pad because more of Weezy’s personality is in the forefront than in previous albums, and everything after this is pure gold.
