The TYLA+ deluxe edition of Tyla‘s debut album, which was released in March, introduces exciting new tracks to her earlier work. Among these is “Shake Ahh,” a high-energy amapiano hit produced by the talented Tony Duardo, known for successful collaborations with the acclaimed DJ Uncle Waffles.
“Shake Ahh” stands out in Tyla’s lineup as her most authentic amapiano track to date. While accepting the Best Afrobeats award at the MTV VMAs last month, Tyla highlighted her connection to amapiano, and this song showcases that essence, despite ongoing discussions about her musical style.
Other additions to the album include “PUSH 2 START,” a Caribbean-influenced mid-tempo track, and the smooth R&B song “BACK to YOU.”
With TYLA+ and upcoming performances, Tyla aims to end the year on a high note. She is set to appear at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in October and is nominated for four awards at the MTV EMAs in November. Additionally, she will perform two concerts in South Africa in December, marking her return home after achieving global fame with the Grammy-winning song “Water”.
