Recently, fans received exciting news of her upcoming music release, the first in over six years. Titled “Young Lion,” the track is dedicated to her son Izaak, who identifies as a trans man. This song will be part of a benefit album called Transa, featuring 46 songs and set for release on November 22, organized by the Red Hot initiative.

From the early eighties until the release of their last album Soldier of Love in 2010, Sade’s musical journey exhibits a clear purpose. Their six albums reflect a unique blend of genres including soul, jazz, pop, and R&B. The debut album Diamond Life, released in 1984, quickly emerged as a classic eighties soul album, narrating heartfelt stories over captivating melodies.

Sade’s band members transitioned from the Latin soul group Pride to include Paul Denman (bass), Stuart Matthewman (sax), and Andrew Hale (keyboard), alongside the captivating lead vocalist Helen Folasade Adu, better known as Sade Adu. Sade, born in Nigeria and raised in Essex, displayed remarkable chemistry with her bandmates, gaining significant attention in the British music scene.
