Seun Kuti performed in New York City at a remarkable concert held at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! The Afrobeat artist and son of the iconic Fela Kuti, led his band Egypt 80 in a memorable show at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park bandshell.
Seun Kuti is on tour in North America in preparation for his upcoming album, “Heavier Yet (Lays The Crownless Head),” set to be released later this year. He recently released a collaboration with Damian Marley from the upcoming album, a significant milestone as it is the first time a Kuti and Marley song has been released together. Additionally, he announced that Lenny Kravitz is the album’s executive producer.
