Orville Peck recently unveiled the first part of his duets album, Stampede, which boasted collaborations with Elton John, Willie Nelson, and others. The next chapter is set for release on Aug. 2, and today, he has dropped “Death Valley High,” a track featuring Beck.
The music video for this song stars drag queen Gigi Goode and actress Sharon Stone. Beck, known for his versatile collaborations, was also featured on Hinds’ “Boom Boom Back” in May and the Black Keys’ “Paper Crown” in April. The upcoming volume of Stampede will also include “Midnight Ride,” a recent joint effort with Kylie Minogue and Diplo.
