Nelly Furtado unveiled a new track “Corazón” featuring Bomba Estéreo after the release of “Love Bites” earlier this year, a collaboration with Tove Lo and SG Lewis. This song marks her return as she gears up for her seventh studio album 7, following her 2017 release The Ride. In a recent statement, Furtado expressed how reconnecting with her music being played by DJs and discovered by a new audience, including Gen Z fans, fueled her inspiration.
Exploring this resurgence, Furtado shared how she composed a staggering 400 songs over four years, rediscovering her artistic voice in the process. She described the upcoming album as deeply personal, reflecting her experiences of heartbreak, self-discovery, and the joy of rediscovering her passion.
Co-produced by Furtado and T-Minus, “Corazón” is a testament to her journey and growth as an artist. The track is now available for a listen, showcasing Furtado’s artistic evolution and revitalized creativity.
7 is scheduled for release on 9/20 under Nelstar/21 Entertainment/Casablanca Records/Republic Records.
