Cults Share New Song “Hung The Moon” on TunesDeck

Cults – “Hung The Moon”

Cults recently announced their upcoming album, To The Ghosts, and have already released tracks like “Crybaby” and “Left My Keys.” Their latest release is the song “Hung The Moon.”

Brian Oblivion described “Hung the Moon” as having a vibe reminiscent of Twin Peaks and a roadhouse feel. He explained it as a sweet nursery rhyme with an ominous undertone, reflecting on the idea of growing up and the unpredictable journey of life. The track explores the idea that life continues to present challenges and adventures even after meeting certain milestones.

Earlier this week, Cults collaborated on a remix of Taylor Swift’s song “Fortnight” from the album The Tortured Poets Department. Listen to “Hung The Moon” below.

To The Ghosts will be available on Imperial starting 7/26.
