Public Service Broadcast recently announced their upcoming album following the release of “Bright Magic” in 2021. The new album, “The Last Flight,” kicks off with the captivating lead single, “Electra.” The album focuses on Amelia Earhart’s final flight around the world in 1937 and features collaborations with Andreya Casablanca, This Is The Kit, and EERA.
The track “Electra” pays tribute to Amelia Earhart’s aircraft of the same name and is filled with pulsing electronics and intricate percussive melodies to match the vibrancy of the aircraft. J. Willgoose Esq. shared his thoughts on the album:
The album explores different aspects of Amelia Earhart’s life, her relationship with her husband, her flying philosophy, and her resilience. Despite facing challenges and risks, she embraced the adventure and joy of life. The album celebrates her bravery and aeronautical achievements, highlighting the essence of humanity and the pursuit of purpose in being alive.
