Review of Sean Henry’s Latest Single “Burn It Out”

Sean Henry – “Burn It Out” (Feat. Lowertown’s Olivia O)

Recently, Sean Henry and Olivia Osby from Lowertown unveiled their new collaborative project, Child Star. Henry is now introducing his upcoming fourth album, “Head,” with the release of its first single, “Burn It Out,” featuring Osby.

Having started in the New York music scene through indie label Double Double Whammy, Henry’s journey began with a unique offer – living in a bedroom for $200/month in exchange for shipping out records. Eventually, he became a part of their artist roster, and they released his debut album “It’s All About Me” in 2015, followed by “Fink” in 2018 and “A Jump From The High Dove” in 2019. After relocating to Connecticut between “Fink” and “A Jump From The High Dove,” Henry started working on “Head” following a car accident where he lost control of the vehicle. Drawing inspiration from Elliott Smith, “Burn It Out” carries a poignant message that resonates with the line: “No one’s getting out alive.” Listen to the track below.

“Head” is set to be released on 8/30 by Double Double Whammy.
