Julian Casablancas and his band, the Voidz, have recently put out several songs like “Prophecy Of The Dragon,” “American Way,” “Flexorcist,” and “All The Same.” Their upcoming album Like All Before You is set to be released in September, marking their first album since 2018. In addition to these announcements, they have now released another track for listeners to enjoy. Titled “Overture,” this new instrumental piece is a brief one that embodies retro synth sounds reminiscent of ’80s sci-fi movie scores. Presumably serving as the album’s introduction, this track was unexpectedly unveiled on YouTube alongside the album news. You can listen to it below.
