Sophia Momodu has reacted to Davido‘s legal bid for joint custody of their daughter, Aurora Imade Adeleke, through a counter affidavit filed by her legal representatives. In June 2024, Davido initiated legal action seeking joint custody and unrestricted visitation rights with their daughter. Among his concerns was Sophia’s demand for an $800 monthly salary for the nanny she hired, which he believed to be excessive.
In response, Sophia refuted claims that she denied Davido access to their daughter, mentioning that he voluntarily distanced himself due to certain conditions imposed. She has formally filed a counter affidavit through her legal team including Dr Anthony Idigbe SAN from Punuka Attorneys and Dr Bimpe Ajegbomogun, with a court hearing earmarked for the 5th of July, 2024.
